The Experience

Our Shinrin-yoku sessions invite you to step away from the noise of everyday life and enter a slower rhythm,  one guided by the breath of the forest. Moving gently through mossy paths and quiet groves, participants are encouraged to awaken all their senses: listening to birdsong, feeling the textures of bark, inhaling the scents of pine and earth.

Each journey is carefully guided to foster calm, clarity, and connection. Rather than striving for achievement, the practice asks only for presence. By pausing, noticing, and simply being in nature, guests discover the restorative power of the forest and leave with a renewed sense of balance and vitality.

Our Story

Born from a longing to slow down and reconnect, Stilla Stig was created to guide people back to nature’s quiet wisdom. Rooted in the practice of Shinrin-yoku, we offer paths where stillness, presence, and the forest’s gentle rhythm help restore balance.

Our purpose is simple: to create space for calm, clarity, and connection in a world that rarely pauses.

What happens during a forest bathing experience?

When we leave the pace of everyday life behind and enter the forest, the rhythm begins to change. Our steps become slower, our breath deeper, and our attention starts to rest in what surrounds us.

We walk gently along forest paths, sometimes over soft moss, sometimes beneath tall trees where light filters softly through the branches. The distance we walk is short — usually around 1–2 kilometers — but we allow plenty of time.

Along the way we pause several times. In the quiet, you are offered simple invitations to notice your senses — what you see, hear, feel, and experience in the presence of the forest.

There is nothing to achieve and nothing to perform. You don’t need to do anything special — simply be there, in nature, just as you are.
